Battlefront 2 - Give Autism a chance
Young people on a mission to change the world. That’s what it’s all about. Battlefront is an online/on-telly Channel 4 project starring a crew of 14-21-year-olds with big ideas, big hearts and big ambitions. With the help of experienced mentors and a dedicated Battlefront team, Battlefronters turn their issues into fully-fledged campaigns and set off on a journey to achieve something incredible. The campaign videos show students keystage 3 up about how they can get involved and make a difference to the world around them, and make great online resources for citizenship lessons. Here's the introduction to Bella Tommey's campaign, 'Give Autism a Chance'; "Because of lack of support, understanding and opportunities, most people with Autism find it impossible to get a job. My mission is to prove that by giving Autism a chance, those that suffer with it CAN put something back into society and work to support themselves and their family."
