Battlefront 2 - Keeping It Safe Online
Young people on a mission to change the world. That’s what it’s all about. Battlefront is an online/on-telly Channel 4 project starring a crew of 14-21-year-olds with big ideas, big hearts and big ambitions. With the help of experienced mentors and a dedicated Battlefront team, Battlefronters turn their issues into fully-fledged campaigns and set off on a journey to achieve something incredible. The campaign videos show students keystage 3 up about how they can get involved and make a difference to the world around them, and make great online resources for citizenship lessons. This video introduces Carney Bonner's campaign, 'Keeping it Safe Online': "When we think we’re safe online, are we really? My Campaign is about keeping web users safe and highlighting the effects of cyber-bullying. I want people to understand the damage it does to victims and how it ruins lives.
